About
Balbriggan and District Athletic Club (re-formed since 2012) is a growing club with big ambitions. Established in the youngest, large town in Ireland, our aims are to encourage and promote the participation and enjoyment of athletics, of all standards, in Balbriggan and the surrounding area. We are very proud to see how our club continues to grow, bringing together people of all ages and abilities, who share a love for athletics, into a supportive, friendly community. And with an 8 lane running track and associated field facilities on the way in Bremore Regional Park there’s never been a better time to join us. Our membership spans from our 6 year old Little Athletes right up to our Masters athletes.
So, whether you’re just getting started, or chasing sporting excellence, you’ll be very welcome in Balbriggan & District AC.

From Community Roots to Competitive Spirit
Founded in 2012, Balbriggan and District Athletic Club has grown from a small group of passionate runners into a thriving local club. Run entirely by dedicated volunteers, we’ve built a strong community where athletes of all levels are supported and encouraged. While inclusion and participation are at our core, we also take pride in nurturing competitive talent and pushing each other to achieve our best.
